Communities In Schools of Houston received a generous grant from Hess Corporation as part of the Hess Learning for Life Partnership—an investment under Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner’s Houston Complete Communities Initiative to fund “educational programs and support services for children in three economically disadvantaged Houston communities.”

The $180,000 received as part of this investment will support CIS in Houston ISD’s Edison Middle School and Yates High School.

We thank Hess for supporting the important work CIS Student Support Specialists do to help educators break down barriers to students' success.
