Beginning in 1979, CIS of Houston began making a difference in the stay-in-school and graduation rates among Houston area schools! CIS of Houston, which began in 1979 in one school in the Acres Home community, has grown to be the largest chapter in the state of Texas, providing guidance and leadership for the other 27 programs.
