TASB honors CIS of Houston with school partnership award
Communities In Schools of Houston is thankful for the partnerships we have with educators and the work we’re able to do alongside them to support our students and their families.
Thanks to a generous nomination from Alief Independent School District, CIS of Houston has received a Texas Association of School Boards award in recognition of our partnership with Alief ISD and others to support tens of thousands of students in nearly 170 schools across the Greater Houston area.
"...Thank you so very much for all of your support and dedication to Alief ISD! I value your support and hope that we can continue our partnership to benefit the students' learning process, strengthen their self-estreem and overall well-being. Together, your partnership has made a real difference in the lives of our students." - Dee Jones, Business and Community Coordinator, Alief ISD
"Your partnership with the schools in your area is meaningful and effective, and we want you to know that we deeply appreciate what you are doing ... Your unselfish willingness to go the extra mile for schools is an inspiring testimony to your support of students and schools." - Executive Director James B. Crow, Texas Association of School Boards
We’re grateful for this honor and committed to continuing our work, helping surround students with a community of support and breaking down any barriers to their success.
