Thank you, Frost Bank
SPRING 2018: Frost Bank teaches financial literacy classes to CIS high school students.
Students learned how to manage finances from generous volunteers at Frost. Katrina Dowdell, CIS Student Support Specialist at Aldine ISD's Davis High School and Trisha Bradley, Community Development Officer, helped coordinate Frost Bank's Financial Literacy Academy, which teaches students about budgeting, saving, investing, credit scores and much more.
“To be honest, before this I didn't even know what a stock was,” one student confessed. Faith Muth, Sales Manager at Frost, presented each student with their certificate of program completion and spoke to students about their
plans after graduation, including college and beyond.
FALL 2018: Frost bank coordinates a city-wide school supplies drive benefiting CIS.
School supplies arrived by the truckload and we distributed them to our campuses to start off the school year.
Thank you, Frost, for all you have done for our CIS students throughout the year in ensuring they have the tools and knowledge they need to succeed!
