About the Virtual Gala

The Stay In School Gala gala is our most important fundraiser of the year. It brings together community members, partners, and CIS supporters, old and new, to raise awareness for CIS’ impactful work on school campuses across the Greater Houston Area. For the first time ever, the CIS Gala will not be in person, but you will learn how CIS has gone beyond school walls in the past year to support students from the comfort of your home.

In place of an event, we will be raising money over the next few weeks to reach our goal of $500,000. At the end of the fundraiser, on May 20, we hope you will tune in for the release of a short video, to hear from CIS students and alumni, Student Support Managers, Board members, and our CIS National President and CEO, Rey Saldaña.
